Local storage and privacy

Learn what stays on your device and why the app connects online.

Trading data is stored in a local SQLite database by default. Online connections are mainly used for sign-in, entitlement checks, release checks, and optional product-quality telemetry.

TradingDesk can start offline and read cached data. Network access is needed for remote authentication and the latest market data.

Do not upload your database, backup files, or screenshots containing personal information to a public location.
